HOURS & ADMISSION

Gilmore Car Museum Hours:
Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
The Historic Campus and outer buildings are open seasonally, April 1st – November 30th.
The Automotive Heritage Center and immediate, connecting galleries are open all year around.


General Admission:
Daily Adults, 18 & older: $12.00
Seniors, 62 & older: $11.00
AAA Members: $11.00
Students, 7-17: FREE
Children, 6 & Under*: FREE
Active Military - must present ID: FREE


Group Admission:
Groups of 12 or more Adults, 18 & older: $10.00
Seniors, 62 & older: $9.00
Car Clubs – arriving in antique cars: $8.00
Student Groups, all grades**: FREE
Guided Tour – admission, plus $75.00 fee

*Must be accompanied by an adult
**School groups must preschedule.
**REQUIRED: One chaperone (FREE) for every six students.


DIRECTIONS

Arriving From US-131:

  • Exit US-131 at Exit 49A – Plainwell
  • Follow highway M-89 east 12 miles to stop sign at M-43
  • Turn left (north) on M-43 and continue for 5 miles to Hickory Road
  • Turn right (east) onto Hickory Road. (Note several large red barns)
  • Museum entrance is on the right. Signs will indicate the visitor parking lots.


Arriving From I-94:

  • Exit I-94 at Exit 85 – Galesburg
  • Travel north on 35th street to the traffic light at M-96.
  • Turn left (west) onto M-96 and follow for one mile to 33rd street.
  • Turn right (north) and follow 33rd street for approximately 6 miles to the traffic light in the village of Richland.
  • Continue straight thru the light (33rd Street becomes M-43)
  • Follow M-43 (north) 6 miles (winding around Gull Lake) to Hickory Road.
  • Turn right (east) onto Hickory Road. (Note several large red barns)
  • Museum entrance is on the right. Signs will indicate the visitor parking lots.

The Gilmore Car Museum is located at 6865 Hickory Road, Hickory Corners, MI – just twenty minutes from I-94 and US-131, located midway between Detroit and Chicago and a short drive from Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Battle Creek, and Lansing, Michigan.
