Save the Dates! Sunday, August 2, to Sunday, August 9, 2026. Lincoln Motor Car Homecoming
Get ready for a special Lincoln Homecoming, starting in Dearborn, MI and cruising to Kalamazoo and Hickory Corners. We are currently working on all of the arrangements but can share the following information so far. This year’s extended homecoming is being hosted by the Lincoln Continental and Owners Club (LCOC).
We start our Lincoln week in Dearborn MI, on Sunday, August 2nd. The recently renovated historic Dearborn Inn will be our host hotel. Special events (to be announced) will take place Monday – Wednesday August 3-5 in Dearborn. On Wednesday, we will leave Dearborn in time to get to Hickory Corners for the Gilmore Museum’s Wednesday Night Cruise-In beginning at 5pm. This event is free and open to all car enthusiasts. Typically, 900 cars grace the field and it is a fun night for everyone! For those new to Homecoming, the Lincoln Museum is part of the larger Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI.
Our host hotel for the remainder of homecoming week will be the Delta Hotel Kalamazoo Conference Center. The hotel offers great food and bar service and a retro indoor pool area from the mid-20th century. We will have a block of rooms with a special rate for the event and will share that information when available.
On Thursday, August 6, there will be a tour to the Lowell Area Historical Museum with lunch in Lowell, MI. Following lunch, we will enjoy a large car and automobilia collection in Grand Rapids with over 200 cars. A short excursion for Friday, August 7th is being planned and on Friday afternoon, the LCOC host club will host mechanical judging for those cars taking part in the car show on Saturday. There will also be seminars to attend on Friday afternoon.
On Friday evening, we will have a dinner and Lincoln-themed auction at the Summer House event space at the Gilmore Museum. All proceeds from the auction benefit the Lincoln Motor Car Foundation. Our goal is to make the museum self-sustaining long into the future. If you have items you wish to donate to the auction, please contact us at
This year’s show is a LCOC Grand National Concours and cars will be judged accordingly. (We will post the criteria soon). Cars not wishing to be part of the formal judging may be on the field as exhibition vehicles. All vehicles must be on the field no later than 9:45 am (the gates early so it will not be a problem).
SATURDAY, August 8th, 2026. ENJOY LINCOLNS ALL DAY LONG at the Lincoln Homecoming and Grand National Concours on the grounds across from our Lincoln Museum at the Gilmore Car Museum. Cars need to stay on the field until released by the Chief Judge around mid-afternoon. Awards will be given out at Saturday evening’s banquet at the Gilmore.
On Sunday, August 9th, cars can continue to be on display on the Gilmore show grounds. This is a great time to enjoy many of the other car museums at the Gilmore if you haven’t already done so. The Lincoln Motor Car Foundation will hold a general meeting for all at 10 am followed by the Board of Trustees meeting. Both meetings are open to any who wish to attend and learn more about the Lincoln Motor Car Foundation.
